This is amazing—congratulations! So exciting to see your fan-favorite Sweetwater oysters hitting over 50 Whole Foods stores. Now even more people can bring a little taste of Tomales Bay home!

Hog Island founders, John + Terry, here with HUGE news for all you oyster lovers: Hog Island oysters are now available at NorCal Whole Foods (all stores north of Monterey, CA)!


We’ve been shucking oysters out in West Marin since 1983, sharing our delicious Hogs with our local communities and friends from all over the world – so being able to share our oysters with even more people is a majorly big deal for us.


We don’t take partnerships like this lightly.  We took our time to find the right partner who cares as much about sustainability, water quality, and cold-chain freshness as we do, and Whole Foods’ rigorous standards for sustainable seafood and aquaculture made them a perfect fit.


That’s why we’re so excited to announce that our OG and fan-favorite Sweetwater oysters are now at over 50 Whole Foods stores across Northern California. While our farm and oyster bars will always be the heart and soul of what we do, we are thrilled to make it a little easier for you to enjoy a taste of Tomales Bay at your own table.
